The ability to explain grammar is a big advantage over other software applications (e.g. MS Word). We're not forced to blindly choose from a list. I am the ESL specialist and I have just spent a few moments exploring your site, Spellcheck Plus. I think this is a great tool as it is not only teacher-friendly but is also student-friendly. I like this so much more than a word processing tool since feedback and a deeper explanation are given to the students. I think Spellcheckplus is a very nifty application. If you're at all shaky on spelling or grammar, running your work through it before sending it for publication could save you some embarrassment.
